Hello, how are you?
I am really excited that you discovered my little corner of the Internet. You’ve probably come to this page to find out more about the girl behind the screen, so let me introduce myself. My name is Dominika, and I’m a 26-year-old girl with an affinity for travelling, photography, beauty, and all things fashion.
My adventure with blogging started in 2006 – back then I used to post icons and banners I designed in Photoshop and share my ramblings on various topics (LiveJournal, anyone?). In 2011, my dream of working in the fashion industry was born and I started my very first fashion and lifestyle blog as a way of expressing myself and connecting with people from all over the world who shared the same passions. December 2012 saw a break from blogging as I decided to go down the road of self-discovery and figure out what I wanted to do with my life next.
I was lucky enough to be able to call London home for some time, until I decided to leave the city to complete my university degree. In 2018, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in International Business and started working as a Fashion Buyer’s Assistant. With my love for fashion clearly still alive and kicking, I realised I missed having a place where I could blog about my daily life and share my musings with the world.
The rest, as they say, is history… In 2019, Into the Bloom was born as a creative outlet for everything from personal style, beauty, travel, food, as well as my undying love of London. I want to help you plan your trips without putting a large dent in your bank account, share some of my favourite places, beauty products I’ve been using, and encourage you to find some magic in the everyday mundane. Most importantly, I want to take you along on my journey to bloom into the person I have always wanted to be. Who knows, maybe this little corner of the Internet will inspire you to set out on a journey of your own?
When I’m not drafting blog posts, you can typically find me searching for the most Instagrammable places around, browsing various beauty sites, fervently looking up cheap flights to another destination or sitting in a café drinking coffee like a Gilmore girl.
